Privacy
Policy
EFFECTIVE: APRIL 30, 2026 · LAST UPDATED: APRIL 30, 2026
This is the GRAVEL Privacy Policy. It explains what information we collect when you visit drinkgravel.com or join our Foundation 100 waitlist, how we use that information, and what rights you have over it. Plain language. No tricks.
GRAVEL is in pre-launch. We are not yet shipping product or processing payments through this site. The only data we collect right now is the email you give us when you join the Foundation 100 waitlist, plus standard analytics that help us see which pages people are reading. That's it.
/01Who we are
"GRAVEL," "we," "us," and "our" mean GRAVEL LLC, a California limited liability company. Our website is drinkgravel.com. You can reach us at crew@drinkgravel.com for any privacy-related question.
/02What we collect
We collect the minimum information needed to run a pre-launch waitlist:
- Email address. When you submit one of our forms, we save it to our waitlist.
- Trade (optional). If you tell us your trade — electrician, welder, plumber, etc. — we save that to help us understand who's joining and to make our communications more useful to you.
- UTM parameters. If you arrive at the site through a tracked link, we record the source, medium, and campaign name to understand which channels are working.
- Standard web analytics. Like nearly every website, we automatically receive your IP address, browser type, device type, referring URL, and the pages you view. We use this to understand how the site is performing.
- Cookies. Small text files stored on your device. We use a minimal set — see Section 06 below.
We do not collect: your name (unless you give it to us by email), your phone number, your address, your payment information (we do not yet take payments), or any sensitive personal information.
/03How we use it
We use the information you give us for these purposes only:
- Email you when GRAVEL Down is ready to ship and your Foundation 100 seat is ready to claim.
- Send occasional product updates if you stay on the waitlist.
- Improve the site and our communications based on aggregate analytics.
- Respond to messages you send us directly.
We do not sell your information. We do not rent your information. We do not use it for any purpose other than what is listed above.
/04Who we share it with
We share your information only with service providers that help us run the website and our waitlist. They are bound by their own privacy commitments and use your information only to provide their services to us:
- Klaviyo. Email service provider. Stores the waitlist and sends our messages.
- Netlify. Website host. Receives form submissions and serves the site.
- Google Analytics (GA4). Aggregated traffic and behavior analytics. IP addresses are anonymized.
- Meta (Facebook). If you arrived through a Meta ad, basic conversion data is shared back to optimize ad performance. No personal identifiers beyond the conversion event.
We may also share information if we are required to by law, by a subpoena or court order, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, prevent fraud, or protect public safety. We will resist any unlawful or overbroad request.
/05How long we keep it
We keep your email on the waitlist until you ask us to remove it or until two years after your last interaction with us, whichever comes first. Aggregated, non-identifiable analytics may be retained longer. You can ask us to delete your information at any time — see Section 07.
/06Cookies and tracking
We use cookies sparingly. You can disable cookies in your browser settings if you prefer; the site will still work for the most part.
- Essential cookies. Required for the form to work and the page to function.
- Analytics cookies (GA4). Help us understand traffic patterns. IP anonymization is on.
- Advertising cookies (Meta Pixel). Help us measure the effectiveness of ads we run. We do not use these for retargeting at this time.
/07Your rights
Everyone
You can ask us to:
- Confirm what information we have about you.
- Correct any information you believe is wrong.
- Delete your information from our waitlist.
- Unsubscribe from our emails — every email we send has a one-click unsubscribe link.
Email crew@drinkgravel.com with the subject line "Privacy Request" and we will respond within 30 days.
California residents (CCPA / CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act and California Privacy Rights Act:
- The right to know what personal information we have collected about you.
- The right to delete personal information we have collected about you.
- The right to correct inaccurate personal information.
- The right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
- The right to limit use of sensitive personal information. We do not collect sensitive personal information.
- The right to non-discrimination for exercising any of these rights.
To exercise any of these rights, email crew@drinkgravel.com. We will verify your identity by replying to the email address on file.
/08Children
This site is intended for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe we have collected information from a minor, please contact us immediately and we will delete it.
/09Security
We use commercially reasonable measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit (HTTPS) and at rest with our service providers. No system is 100% secure, but we work to keep our exposure surface small — minimal data collected, minimal vendors involved.
/10Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as our business evolves — particularly when we begin processing payments, ship product, or expand our analytics. When we do, we will update the "Effective" date at the top of this page. Material changes will also be communicated by email to anyone on the waitlist.
/11Contact us
If you have a privacy concern we have not resolved, you may also file a complaint with the California Attorney General's Office or the FTC.
